Benefits of MembershipAnnual MeetingAnnual Meeting. The GCBAA holds its Annual Meeting in conjunction with the Golf Industry Show. This meeting provides an opportunity for all GCBAA members to hear the state of the Association, discuss issues relevant to the golf construction industry, voice opinions on affairs of the Association, and network with other members. During the Annual Meeting, the GCBAA also hosts the Awards Dinner, which includes the presentation of the prestigious Don A. Rossi Award.Summer MeetingThe GCBAA holds a Summer Meeting each year in conjunction with the PGA Championship. This meeting includes educational seminars, an exhibit area for Associate members, an annual golf tournament and other social events.NewsletterEarthShaping NEWS. The quarterly GCBAA newsletter, EarthShaping NEWS, contains items of interest to those involved in the golf course construction industry including details on membership meetings, lists of new members, and updates on the Association's programs and activities. Press releases from members are also included in the "Movers and Shapers" column and classified advertising is available. The newsletter is distributed to GCBAA members, golf course architects, golf media, and others with an interest in the golf course construction industry.
Membership DirectoryThe annual GCBAA Membership Directory contains company profiles of member companies, a construction reference section, and information on the Golf Course Builder Certification Program, GCBAA Foundation and other GCBAA activities. The Directory is updated and edited each year. It is distributed to GCBAA members, the Allied Association of Golf, golf course architects, developers, owners, superintendents, municipalities, golf media, and universities. Advertising is available to members of the GCBAA.WebsiteThe GCBAA's website updates visitors on the activities of the Association and lists all GCBAA members. Links are added to each member's website and email address.LPGA EventsThe LPGA offers complimentary admission to all domestic LPGA events. The LPGA schedule can be found at www.lpga.com.USGA EventsThe USGA has offered all GCBAA members complimentary admission to all USGA Championships.The spouse or guest of the GCBAA Member is also granted complimentary admission to the Women's Open, Senior Open and U.S. Amateur. However, the spouse or guest of the GCBAA Member is NOT granted complimentary admission to the U.S. Open. Junior tickets - Children age 12 and under at the time of the U.S. Open will be allowed complimtentary admission on a daily basis when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Persons 17 and under will be allowed complimentary admission on a daily basis when accompanies by an adult ticket holder to the Women's Open, Senior Open and U.S. Amateur. Please park at general parking for all events and take the shuttle to Will Call. You will need to show your GCBAA membership card and valid identification to receive your complimentary grounds ticket. PGA of AmericaThe PGA has offered all GCBAA members and their spouse complimentary admission to the PGA Championship and Senior PGA Championship. You will need to show your GCBAA membership card and valid identification to receive your complimentary tickets.PGA TourNEW The PGA Tour offers all GCBAA members complimentary admission to all PGA Tour events. To gain admission, show your GCBAA membership card and a photo identification. Call the PGA Tour event office for the event you want to attend to determine where to pick up you complimentary ticket.World Golf Hall of FameDiscounted admission to the World Golf Hall of Fame and Imax Theater in St. Augustine, Florida.
