John C. Copeland - President . . . . Superior Golf Concepts, Inc.

Founder and President of Superior Golf Concepts, John C. Copeland, brings a singular perspective to the golf course construction industry. After John earned his degree in residential landscape design and construction, he teamed with golf construction companies in the Atlanta area. In the early 80’s John was invited to join the "Golden Bear” Staff of Golfing Legend Jack Nicklaus. For the next fifteen years, John held many positions for three prominent golf construction companies to include; Shaper, Design Coordinator, Design Associate, Director of Field Operations - Europe, and Vice President of Field Operations for Paragon Golf Construction, Inc. and Senior Projects Manager at Weitz Golf.

In 2001, he founded Superior Golf Concepts with the belief the golf course construction industry was in need of a small dynamic company dedicated to high quality construction, efficient building practices, and practical cost containment while building environmentally responsible golf courses. John is a veteran of over 50 golf course projects in 12 countries. It is hard to imagine a construction challenge that they have not overcome. Their professional experiences are broad and deep, providing a solid foundation to protect the client's development interests and investment.
